Chic Wedding in a Refurbished Train Station

It’s an understatement to say that I’m in love with this wedding. There’s just so many things to swoon over! I love the bride’s lacy gown. It was very intricate on the top part but it flared out to a simple skirt part. The pink taupe bridesmaid’s dresses was lovely as well. Although it had different styles, they all looked liked something Greek goddesses would wear. The decorative details were pretty too – the invitations, the table assignment board, the table settings, etc. And if you needed one more reason to seal the deal on loving this wedding, they held this very special day in an old but refurbished train station. Talk about unique. Congratulations Lauren and David!

Vibrant Lights and Timeless Pieces

It was a fine, bright, and beautiful day when our couple, Traci and Grey, got married. I love how everything was illuminated by natural sunlight that it felt like such a lighthearted and joyful wedding. And this vibe and setting matched with the timeless and classic details created such elegance despite the simplicity. One good illustration of this description is the ceremony venue – with it’s great and beautiful layout and the big windows that allowed entry of sunshine – it was definitely a perfect start for the rest of the day. Congratulations Traci and Grey!

Chicago Skyline and Planetarium Wedding

Chicago skyline is one of the most exquisite skyline there is and our couple’s idea to emphasize this scenic view throughout their equally exquisite wedding is just apt. The edginess and structure of the details in this wedding, may it be the big buildings or the small table pieces, added color and personality to this already elegant event.

Styled Shoot – Savagely Sweet

This photoshoot is filled with sweet and soft details accented by dark and edgy hints. From the bridal gowns and dresses to the table pieces, everything just screams chic. The outfits’ designs are beautifully feminine but it’s either they’re paired with something that has a touch of black or it is black. The food and table details are in pink and black, which may sound unappetizing but once you look at them, they will be sure to bring out your sweet tooth. Despite the darkness and lack of appeal of the said shade as a traditional wedding palette, when used at good moderation, it can actually make your event classy. Besides, completely soft hues are not really for every bride.

Kecia & David – Love is a Walk in the Park

This is such an elegant event and what’s more amazing about it is that it has a homey touch to it. The ballrooms where the ceremony and reception were held were undeniably gorgeous, which the decorators should take credit for, but it’s the flow of the natural light that made it look welcoming altogether. Plus their decision to shoot after-wedding photos in the park added more omely vibe because it looked like a garden setting. What a wonderful wedding. Home is indeed where your heart is.

Staci & Brett – Fantastically Charming

Prior to reading Staci & Brett’s account of their special day, looking at their photos constantly reminded me of the words “magical” and “fantastical”. There was just something so charming about their pictures but I cannot lay my finger on why. I figured it must be the backdrop since old rock textured structures and blue skies reminds me of fairytale castles but then I read a tidbit of our couple’s love story and how Staci got the idea of choosing a Disney Princess inspired wedding gown and I knew that even if the magical description of the event wasn’t planned, it surely wasn’t done in complete ignorance. Our couple even met in one of the world’s magical place, Disneyland! I hope you can see what I meant, and I know every wedding day is supposed to be magical but this one very much nailed that description.
