Elegant Yet Comfortable

When we think of elegant weddings, our minds instantly picture a glamorous and luxurious event. But, in this case, elegance is tied together with warm and comfort. Addison wore a custom made wedding dress but with sentimental touches; the bodice was made from her grandmother’s dress. And her bouquet, a mix of warm tones, matched Steve’s accessories. I also want to praise Addison on being hands-on at her wedding that she handmade almost all of the decors (read on to know more about details). The couple was very happy with the outcome of their efforts and for that, congratulations!

Tropical Colors And Rustic Feel

Kristin’s vision for her wedding decor led to this beautiful Rustic Garden wedding. The wedding was perfectly styled according to the theme – the personalized invites and menus, the tropical flowers, and the burlap accents. And though the venue might be the biggest expense of this event I would say it was worth every penny. Congratulations to Jeb and Kristin on getting hitched and for such romantic eve

Pretty Lilacs Of Love

When you look at this photo of the bride with her bridesmaids and see the lilac gowns, and pretty pastel flowers – you immediately think of spring! If you look through their wedding gallery, you would see that they also incorporated the same colors at the reception. I love how everything was feminine, subtle, and elegant. And here’s an idea for your wedding: after the ceremony, the guests were given pale pink rose petals in a cone and bubbles to ‘shower’ the couple. It was a beautiful day. The couple who are very God-centered people sang worship songs along with their guests. May God bless your love more, Elise and Greg!

1920’s With A Lemon Twist

Frank and Jessica went for a 1920’s vintage theme wedding in Miami. I love that they brought the 1920’s to the 21st century by incorporating modern touches. Jessica, wearing a fishnet veil and beaded mermaid dress, totally looked liked a revamped 1920’s bride. The venue also got that 20’s vibe going on with gray tablecloths and yellow decors/accents around. And they added a twist by using lemons as place card holders and what looks like lemon juice as favors. I’m not really sure what’s the reason behind the lemons, but I find it cute!

The Vintage Glam In Cleveland

Ivory and gold – these two combined make for an elegant and vintage appeal. That is what our featured couple wanted to achieve on their wedding day. The couple had the ceremony on the stairs with specks of gold that complemented the motif/theme very well. The bride, Jordan, exuded elegance in her ivory wedding dress. The reception was also stunning as gold and white took part in every table you could see – centerpieces, chairs, and place cards. The venue itself was full of elegance and it was perfect. To top it off, the bride herself did all DIY on this wedding, proving, that you can always find elegance in DIY’s.

A MARVELous Wedding

Come forth ye comic aficionados for this wedding feature is worth the read. Rebecca and Justin, who are avid comic readers, stayed true to their hobby and made it their wedding theme. It’s always fun to see couples taking a unique route on their weddings. These two had everything planned even down to tiny details like their funko pop inspired cake topper. Even their shoes were made to look like decoupage with comic pages. And it doesn’t stop there, the bouquets were also comic fabrics that were shaped into flowers. The guestbook was even a framed Marvel poster!

An Orchard And A Wedding

Roses are red, apples are red, Karin and Matthew’s motif is, well, scarlet red. The couple had a wedding at a beautiful orchard wedding complete with the scarlet and grey motif to represent Ohio, particularly Ohio State University. Red, grey, and ivory speaks vintage when matched together — maybe the reason they had vintage cars bring the entourage to the ceremony and reception, so classy! And let me just compliment Karin’s wedding dress – I adore the way the dress hugged her body in a subtle and classy way.
