To Have and To Hold, In Case You Get Cold

Jackie ♥ Mitch

Mitch mentioned to his best friend that there was this girl at work he liked. Everyone cautioned him not to date someone he worked with but fortunately Mitch didn’t listen! Now they’re married and happier than ever! Congratulations, Jackie and Mitch! Wishing you many more days as happy as this one, many more occasions for celebration, and a lifetime of love and laughter! And you guys out there better check out the stuff which made their day even more special.

Details That Made This Wedding Extra Special

The bouquet. The bride’s bouquet was wrapped in the sleeve of her mother’s wedding dress.

Sign our skis please. They used antique skis for guests to sign.

The cake topper. It was ski themed as well.

The cozy favors. Since it was a January wedding they wanted their guests to be comfortable so as a gift they had baskets of blankets with their date embroidered on them (“to have and to hold in case you get cold”).

Faux fur fever. Jackie’s mom handmade the faux fur shrugs that the girls wore!

The props. One of Mitch’s friends asked permission to bring hundreds of amazing glow sticks. Mitch obviously had no objections to this! It made dancing really fun!

Tips From The Photographer

♥ Give your bridesmaids practical (but fun!) gifts. Jackie gave them the perfect gifts. A beautiful clutch to hold everything they would need throughout the day and she also gave them faux fur shrugs so they wouldn’t be cold but still look cute in pictures.

♥ Definitely get a party bus or trolley! Stop and really be in the moment. Don’t worry about what’s happening next and enjoy what’s happening now. The day won’t fly by as fast!

♥ Wear flats! Because of the length of Jackie’s gown she couldn’t wear heels. She was secretly relieved because she was looking forward to being comfortable all day instead of dealing with heels.
