Surprise Engagement Party

How about a surprise proposal and a party all on the same day? Of course we want her to say yes or it was all for nothing, right? Imagine this, you take her to a venue in the country and under a gorgeous chandelier hanging from an outdoor wooden gazebo you drop to one knee and propose. Then you take her up the walkway to the venue where inside waits all of your family and friends and the most beautiful decor, floral, food and cake you could imagine. There is even a scotch and cigar area you can both partake in. A vision brought to life that ended up as a perfect proposal captured through the lenses of Brandi McComb Photography. Get ready for this surprise engagement party!

We’re All About the Details

The floral was perfect and created just the way they envisioned. The shot glasses made of chocolate added that extra special touch you just don’t see often and so unique, the scotch and cigar bar that they wanted to add to give it that sexy yet masculine touch.

Of course they went out of her way to create the most amazing cake, it was absolutely breathtaking! Even the luxurious arrangement of fruits are beautifully prepared.

I only brought in the best of the best in the industry and every vendor knocked it out of the park. We had shot glasses made of chocolate, Jinga on the front lawn and sexy transportation. It is dark, sexy with gorgeous colors and it is exactly what I visioned.

Heed This Advice

For an event like this if you are wanting it to be a surprise proposal or simply the engagement party after, be sure to consider your budget up front then decide on your headcount, this will help when speaking with your catering and decide on what colors you would like for the decor and floral, you can definitely keep it simple and cost down just be sure to always reach out to more than one vendor in each area (floral, hair & makeup, photographer, video, planning, decor, cake, catering, etc), it is very similar in planning a wedding but up to you on what you are looking for and always be sure to start with finding your venue first! ~Brandi McComb/Photographer
