Carrie ♥ Rob

Carrie and Rob,  as described by their photographer, are two of the sweetest people. They chose the color scheme mint and green, and everything looked oh so fresh and naturally elegant. One ingenious idea they had in mind – they provided the guests with “dancing shoes” at the reception. Sure enough that everyone had a fantastic time. Congratulations, Carrie and Rob for finally tying the knot!

Details That Made This Wedding Extra Special

The bridal style. Carrie looked went for a more natural look instead of the glammed up look we usually see on brides these days. She was angelic in her lace dress.

The decors. We kept the decor simple and consistent throughout. White flowers and greenery were found at all locations. While I’m not a creative person, I wholeheartedly recommend Etsy for any decor details.

The DIY. We purchased a personalized wooden welcome sign, card box, and “Mr” and “Mrs” signs on the back of our chairs from SweetNCCollective from the site.

The color palette. White, Ivory, Mint.

Advice for Brides-To-Be

Accept help from others! I had a very particular vision of how I wanted the day to turn out, so I made sure to be in charge of all decisions. In hindsight, it’s okay to accept help from your family member or friend who offers to, for instance, put the bathroom baskets together, or pick out the “dancing shoes” (the sandals we provided to guests at the reception). I also encourage brides to keep the details of the day to a particular few. While planning, I was surprised how others had no reservations offering their opinions that differed significantly than my own. I started to second guess how I wanted the day to go, but make sure to stay true to your style!
