Michelle ♥ Wilbur

Nothing else can be as precious as a couple’s vision of their wedding day. Michelle and Wilbur had in mind what they wanted and completely stood for it. They wanted it simple and be surrounded by family, friends, and flowers. Their guests mingled in the peonies, garden roses, hydrangeas, and blue thistles as they posed under the stunning wooden arch or in the custom-designed gold frames. Everything was oh-so-perfect! Check out their gallery below!

Extra Special Details

The challenge: There had been an unexpected guest RSVP to the wedding – El Niño. The outdoor garden wedding was originally booked in December, expecting the beautiful and warm Southern California winter season to grace everyone with sunshine. As the day drew closer, however, reports of El Niño storms frightened the couple and they considered tenting alternatives and even the possibility of changing venues. They then decided to take the chance and hope that the weather reports were lies. It rained the entire day before the wedding, but El Niño decided to stay home on the big day

Cat-themed: Michelle and Wilbur are the crazy cat couple. We had cats on our invitations, escort cards, and wedding cake. Too bad our cat, Scar, could not make it to the wedding!

Custom decor: The amazing florist, Cindy, designed custom wreaths and custom gold frames with floral accents to make our decor dreams into reality.

Dessert: In addition to the chocolate hazelnut wedding cake, guests enjoyed the late-night hot churros with hot chocolate.

DIY elements: The couple spent a lot of quality time assembling invitations, escort cards, menus, and wedding favors together. Additionally, Michelle made the chalkboard sign that welcomed all of the guests to the wedding.

Money Matters

Wedding Budget: $20,000 – $45,000
