 The Extra Special Wedding Details

The Wardrobe: The bride wore a lovely fit and flare satin gown with a hint of sparkle at the waist while the groom and groomsmen all donned classic black tuxes. The bridesmaids were all stunning in black strapless knee-length cocktail dresses.

The Understated Decors: Cocktail hour took place in the tent outside of the venue with the reception following in the farm’s main building. Like their attire, the reception decor was elegant and understated, featuring gold chargers and classic white floral centerpieces. Sprinkled throughout the reception were many personal touches including a donut tree for Leslie’s mother’s birthday and the groom’s signature cocktail names after Leslie’s beloved cat, Jack.

DIY Favors: We created the favors. There were two options. One option was seed packets that were in small envelopes that we labeled. The second was small, potted herbs. We grew these ourselves and labeled each one. This was a little stressful because neither one of us has been known to have a “green thumb.” It all worked out, though!
