This wedding is every little girl’s dream. Filled with pinks and whites, adorable details and decors, and a bar for candies – who could ask for something better? But really, there’s a lot of things that made me fall in love with this album and it’ll take me paragraphs to enumerate them all. Nicole & Mathew were together for quite a long time before finally deciding to make it official! And this glamorous Canadian barn wedding was worth the wait! So many fabulous details and stunning florals all displayed in this amazing barn with wood panelling and tons of natural light. The day was perfect. It completely revolved around joining two wonderful families for a day of celebrating two people who wanted to continue their lives as a committed couple.
The outdoor ceremony was held at the historical Kirkland House in Delta, BC. It was a gorgeous, sunny day, but not unbearably hot. Nicole was walked down the aisle by her grandfather to join her emotional groom and share their vows. I loved all of their vintage décor pieces, from the two wooden doors that hid the bride before she walked down the aisle, to the old wooden wine barrels which held stunning floral bouquets, to the chalkboards and vintage table where they did the signing.
Following the ceremony, we left with the bridal party to take some photos at two gorgeous locations in the Tsawwassen area. The guests remained on the property and played bocce and other lawn games, and enjoyed appetizers and cocktails.
We returned to Harris Barn, which is on the property of Kirkland House, for the reception! Amazing food, moving speeches, tears, laughs, and a whole lot of dancing!
