It is kind of compelling for a couple prepping for their wedding and thinking how they are to incorporate tradition with contemporary styles. However, Janet, our bride here is one radical woman who knows what she wants and darling, she had what she wanted. Read the photographer’s notes below along with her beautiful shots and see how the Chinese tradition lived on in this dreamy modern day.
The Photographer’s Notes
You will never in your life meet anyone more friendly and outgoing than Janet. No matter where she goes in life, Janet will make tonnes of friends. While normally this is a good thing, when it comes to deciding on your wedding guest list, the task can become daunting for someone who has so many close friends and family in their lives. Janet and David planned a large wedding; their closest friends and family were amongst those who had the opportunity to witness the nuptials and celebrate.
With food being a priority for Janet but tradition being equally important to not only her but her extended family, Janet spent months looking for the perfect venue that would meet all of her expectations. The traditional chinese meal was one of the best I’ve ever eaten and all were happy with full tummies.
While the majority of the stress of the day came from choosing the best food, Janet had no problem finding her other vendors as she had worked with them including myself, the photographer. Word of mouth was a crucial element into helping plan this event.
