This photoshoot is filled with sweet and soft details accented by dark and edgy hints. From the bridal gowns and dresses to the table pieces, everything just screams chic. The outfits’ designs are beautifully feminine but it’s either they’re paired with something that has a touch of black or it is black. The food and table details are in pink and black, which may sound unappetizing but once you look at them, they will be sure to bring out your sweet tooth. Despite the darkness and lack of appeal of the said shade as a traditional wedding palette, when used at good moderation, it can actually make your event classy. Besides, completely soft hues are not really for every bride.
For this bridal session, our aim is high fashion, with a destination feel. The location is a unique rocky landscape at a beach, located within Whytecliff Park, in West Vancouver, BC, and is perfect for our concept. We used soft bridal colors, like pastel pink and white, with darker colors like purple and black, to produce a more dramatic and fashion theme. The pastry, invitation, and floral designers worked together to make our concept come to life. The wedding gowns were provided by Clara Couture Bridal. One model was wearing a stunning designer mermaid gown, with an asymmetrical sweetheart neckline, and ruffled skirt; the other gown is from the new 2015 Pronovias collection, which showcases a beautiful low-cut semi-sheer back, with mother of pearl gemstone embroidery. The soft pink and the black sequins evening gowns were used create a contrast between the soft destination look, and the modern glamour style.Vendors
