This desert-themed styled shoot was beautifully shot by Katrina Thaxton. With things found in her home, they made a rustic chic setup in the middle of the desert — baskets, tables, runner rug, plates, utensils. The team behind this styled shoot certainly made us see a different concept. Plus the sunset made it extra romantic and dreamy!
We’re All About The Details
The bridal style. I love the beautiful balance between sultry and modest of the bride’s look. A braided updo to feature the sexy back of the dress. The no-accessory look is becoming a trend amongst bride too! Au naturale~
The theme. They went with the desert theme because it was unheard of and wanted every bride-to-be to see its beauty. They sure made it romantic and dreamy! (One desert wedding, please!)
The teepee altar. It was made out of driftwood from a beach that they took along with them during their two and a half hour drive to the area where they shot this.
The unusual bouquet. The bouquet certainly matched the theme of this styled shoot. The desert = wild flora. It’s always good to stick to the theme even with the tiniest detail.
This cake is too pretty to eat, but it so delectable I want to devour it. HELP!
Rustic vintage in the middle of the desert is not something you’d see every day.
You don’t need to spend a ton of money to create something beautiful. I think the location is so important as it creates the entire feel and vibe of a wedding.
