Frank and Jessica went for a 1920’s vintage theme wedding in Miami. I love that they brought the 1920’s to the 21st century by incorporating modern touches. Jessica, wearing a fishnet veil and beaded mermaid dress, totally looked liked a revamped 1920’s bride. The venue also got that 20’s vibe going on with gray tablecloths and yellow decors/accents around. And they added a twist by using lemons as place card holders and what looks like lemon juice as favors. I’m not really sure what’s the reason behind the lemons, but I find it cute!
What is the overall story for this album?
Frank and I met through a mutual friend 6 years prior to getting married. Our friendship developed into a romantic relationship. I introduced him to yoga and traveling, he introduced me to boating and fishing. I originally wanted an outside wedding but then after looking at multiple locations we decided that the most comfortable would be an inside venue. The eclectic vibe of the Cruz building drew our attention. However, we still wanted beautiful wedding pictures outside. Frank and I are both Miami natives and Vizcaya was a place that reminded us both of old Miami.

Anything else you would like to add?
This was a unique vintage looking wedding in a very cool Miami location. In addition, we did a photo shoot on another day with the bride and groom at Vizcaya – a famous old world European looking location in Miami. It’s on the water and the building and grounds are magnificent and very reminiscent of old Europe.
