Once you’ve found the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, it’s romantic to imagine how you’ll get engaged. Will your future fiancé propose in front of your family and friends, or whisk you off to someplace private and romantic?

There are a million different ways to get engaged, but it all comes down to one ring. It’s good to talk about which styles you like with your significant other before they go to the jewelry store. They should know what you prefer, but it’s up to you to know which rings are in and out of style.

Check out these elegant engagement ring trends for 2020. You’ll find one you love that won’t look out of place when you put it on after the big proposal. They’ll also be widely available in stores, so you can browse many different shops to find the perfect one.

1. Add Color Everywhere

Traditionally, engagement rings showed off a solitary diamond. The crystal clear bling stood out and amazed anyone who saw it, but now that’s the standard people expect from an engagement ring.

Recently, colorful rings have become a popular style — and it won’t go anywhere during 2020. Find one with a band made out of diamonds in bright purples and greens. Make a ruby red diamond the center of your ring or find one made with your birthstone.

2. Copy the Georgian Era

The Georgian period lasted from 1714 to 1837 under the rule of four King Georges. It set many style trends, especially for jewelry. You can copy the details of this era in your engagement ring. Choose a classic style like an emerald cut and have it inlaid with many tiny diamonds instead of one larger one. They will make it a work of art, referencing the Georgian era without making the ring look out of place.

3. Embrace Pearl Accents

Diamonds used to be for engagement rings like pearls were for ladies sitting down to tea. Now, many women choose to include them in their engagement rings. It’s such a popular 2020 fad that celebrities are already jumping into the trend, setting pearls amid diamonds and other jewels.

4. Mix Your Metals

When you step into a jewelry store, you’ll see plenty of singularly metal rings, but a 2020 trend will be mixing the metals. Classic Wedding at Alfred Dupont

If you’re looking for a fresh modern style, you’ll certainly love what we have in store for you today. This beautiful modern romance style shoot wedding will instantly brighten your mood with its romantic vibe and elegant colors! Romance and elegance? Always a good combination. This took place at the historic Alfred Dupont Building in Miami, FL. The decoration included strong unique shapes and lines as seen on the reception and sweetheart table. The candle holders were turned into caged floral displays. The reception table was decorated with modern place settings, using rich colors to contrast with the neutral interiors such as the details of the table settings and cake. A dramatic beautiful ball gown, accessories, hair and makeup was used to mirror the look with the decor and the same for the groom the details like the cufflinks were inspired by the mechanisms of the vault. Also, the use of calligraphy was to add that extra romantic touch to the stationary and ceremony. This styling by Pink Wasabi Boutique, Inc. is gorgeous, and the couple look so lovely- I’m sure you’ll enjoy scrolling through every photo by Cortiella Photography just as much as I did!

With fabulous details from the French Quarter in New Orleans and a unique blend of rich historical splendor, modern sophistication, exquisite cuisine and old world romance, this styled shoot has the perfect amount of spice to inspire you. Picture this, Guests walking in the charming Garden District with its grand historic mansions and the lavish gardens of St. Charles Avenue, located on the Mardi Gras parade route. Guests arrive stilling holding the gold letterpressed invitations, with hand laid foil detail in the envelope liner and are greeted with cocktails and other delicious flavors served in a romantic vine-covered courtyard before being seated at the beautiful Livingston hand-carved dining tables, surrounded by the comfortable Mackenzie side chairs and the richly dressed Claudia host chairs. Places are held with matching place cards and elegantly printed menu cards with the evenings delectable offerings. The resplendent table-scape of Ethan Allen accents are paired with the elegantly simple Modern Grace dinnerware and Grand Royal Platinum Crystal stemware from Villeroy and Boch. Pirouette and Bloom provided the Gold, green and teal glass marquee vases that are filled with Purple roses, hydrangea, Veronica, cilia, and delphiniums. All surrounded by Italian Ruscus and Tropical leaves. A nod to Mardi Gras of course.Our model is dressed in the stunning “Iris” gown by Riki Dalal, which is a fitting reminder of the french quarter. The gown plays with delicate and embellished lace over nude illusion. The mermaid silhouette highlights every curve while its plunging neckline and cutouts balance out its beautiful flared train for an elegantly daring look.Each piece of exquisite crystal jewelry from “Viola” captures the seductive elements of the contemporary woman, personifying class and fierce designs. Such a stunning gown and jewellry, need no competition, so alistbeauty.ca kept the makeup fresh and feminine and put the bride’s hair in a glamorous woven low bun enhanced with champagne colored orchids. Reminiscent of the great Billie Holiday. The sweet table is set up by cake creations by Michelle. A marbled design, two-tiered caked is enhanced with gold leaf and beautiful white sugar garden roses. Inside red velvet sponge cake is paired with cream cheese buttercream. Two delicate marbled mini cakes are pink and white to complement the decor, the flavors are decadent chocolate sponge paired with a mouthwatering chocolate buttercream in the middle to satisfy the rich taste of our groom.

Styled bridal shoot at Cairnwood Mansion

Today, I’ll be showing you international styles of both romanticism and modern design from various bridal gowns and jewelry designers. Hosted in the famous Carinwood Mansion Estate in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania, this stunning aesthetics and luxurious style is the tone of the day. I especially love the natural light that enveloped the indoors of the estate that enabled these amazing vendors to illustrate perfectly, the construction of both the gowns and the elegant jewelry sets. Elegant textures and the relaxed form-fitted cut photographs exquisitely show the elements of classicism. The dresses on the left are paired with an oxidized Victorian Style bridal set that is ideal for the bride planning a vintage themed look, the middle dress is paired with a Crystal Maze Necklace set, encrusted with high-quality Zircon which adds glamour and a bit of Art Deco elements to the moving piece. The sequined top ball gown designed by Hailey Page offers a lavish detail for the top of the gown that transitions seamlessly paying homage to the simple elegance of the 1940s. The gown is paired with Princess Pearls Chocker Set which was inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s forever elegance. All of the pieces of jewelry featured was provided by Glitter Trunk Jewelry and the gowns by Country Way Bridal in Haddonfield, New Jersey. The Venue

This is a beautiful Venue on an 800-acre ranch in Blum, Texas. It has some of the most amazing sunsets in Texas, and we have some amazing ones! This gorgeous, rustic but elegant barn has 2 large chandeliers, that face overlooking beautiful hills. A silo that has been turned into a gorgeous bridal suite…. brides absolutely love it! There are so many beautiful places on the ranch, but the cherry on top is an amazing cliff with the view of the bravos river.This venue is beautiful whether it is simply dressed with small vases of sunflowers, or dressed with the huge arrangements of spring or fall flowers. This day was perfect with gorgeous purple and pink arrangements!

Beautiful Rustic Elegance

It has everything a bride could want from gorgeous sunsets, rustic but elegant surroundings, the bridal silo, and a place out away from the city lights to just breath and relax. There is also a guest house for the bride or families to stay overnight.

Remember that it’s your day! There may be people who want to steal your thunder, not be genuine or add more stress, but try to push that aside. What matters is who you’re walking down the aisle towards – the love of your life. Don’t sweat the small stuff! You can plan all you want, but things never go according to plan. I am a wedding photographer based in Jamestown, NY, however, my team and I will travel to any location. We frequently photograph weddings in Erie, PA, Buffalo, NY, and at the Chautauqua Institution in Chautauqua, NY. While these cities make up our home base, we LOVE to travel!
