Kingston’s Steakhouse & Venue is a new spot and is looking forward to entertaining clients in the area with its excellent service and awesome venue.

The stunning look of velvet and the romantic look of taper candles were fused to make things look magical. Fresh florals were displayed everywhere complemented by a hint of fresh citrus fruits for a radiant pop of color.

The bride felt like an absolute queen with the exquisite diamonds she wore courtesy of Siebke Hoyt Jewelers.

The cake by Sugar Flower Cake Design was an elegant masterpiece. Its simple design with edible flowers was framed by a dramatic arch of styled balloons and floral for a visual focal point in the ballroom.

The first dance was a dream-like experience for the couple. It was a magical finale where fireworks lit up as the couple were caught in their intimate bond. Carter Photography captured this breathtaking scene. Would-be couples can take this inspiration and create this magical scene in their once-in-a-lifetime event.

There are so many details that I love from this event, and a couple, in particular, stood out to me. The gorgeous floral backdrop was such a beautiful detail that literally light up the room. I also loved the table setting, especially the serveware (luxury stoneware dishes and pitchers). I love the colors, textures and the look of them that really made the room pop. I also love the white drapery, vintage chairs, and the bridal gown–everything was so beautiful!

Take this Advice

Planning a wedding (or any special event) can be overwhelming, there’s so much to think about and consider from guest experience to the bride and groom. I think the most important advice I can give to couples still in the planning process is to have trust in the process; trust your planner, designer, coordinator–they know what they’re doing. Don’t get to hung up or stressed out about the details (not if you have a planner or stylist). If you are planning your wedding yourself without the help of a professional, really think about your budget, think about what you both want, must-haves vs. nice-to-haves, and really narrow it down to what’s important. At the end of the day, t his is about YOU and no one else. remember to have fun throughout the process, it is so easy to lose sight of the big picture so I would say, definitely, take it one day at a time. Remember that it’s your day! There may be people who want to steal your thunder, not be genuine or add more stress, but try to push that aside. What matters is who you’re walking down the aisle towards – the love of your life. Don’t sweat the small stuff! You can plan all you want, but things never go according to plan. It does help to have a coordinator to handle these situations when they arise, because then you won’t have to worry about it. Blake and Kelli and added several incredibly unique touches that i’m sure everyone will adore. Take a look at that purple and orange garter! Kelli loves Halloween colors, and wasn’t afraid to wear them–in March! Like what we say here in Elegant Wedding, wear what you want!

It was fun for the toss, and awesome in those pictures. Kelli’s shoes were also bold with her white dress, and turned out stunning in her wedding album. I appreciated the touches of black and gold in addition to the hot pink and navy blue–I felt that the black brought out a powerful element of the hot pink.

Did you check out their cakes? I LOOOOVE when couples have their own cakes. This way they don’t have to compromise on how they want them to look.

Take this Advice

Remember that you can’t please everybody. Weddings are notorious for inspiring those around you to offer up unsolicited advice and expectations that you DON’T have to listen to! This is your day! Do your thing. You want a halloween-themed garter in March that doesn’t match the rest of your wedding colors? Who cares? That’s awesome! Kelli and Blake did it, and nobody has any regrets. Unique Wedding Aspects

Who wouldn’t love Bree and Chase’s yellow, blue and pearl-white color scheme. It perfectly summed up their personalities and made for bright, exciting pictures. The touches of bubble gum balls, beautiful, personalized lighting on the walls, and lots of pearl accents really tied the decor together.

The Dog of Honor, Sebastian

I adore it when couples have a Dog of Honor at their wedding, and Sebastian, with his little red bow tie, was by far one of the funnest wedding details I’ve captured to date.

The Wedding Cake

Their beautiful, tall cake was a show-stopper! A white multi-layered masterpiece from Gigi’s Cupcakes that looks so gorgeous and enticing!

When it comes to decor, don’t be afraid to do your own thing! Bree and Chase went out of the box with their whimsy decor instead of staying within the standard reigns of what is “wedding appropriate”, and I am SO glad they did. Still in the planning process? Make sure to mark the big items off your list first. Second, have your vendors collaborate together on ideas, especially your photographer and florist.
