The stunning look of velvet and the romantic look of taper candles were fused to make things look magical. Fresh florals were displayed everywhere complemented by a hint of fresh citrus fruits for a radiant pop of color.

The bride felt like an absolute queen with the exquisite diamonds she wore courtesy of Siebke Hoyt Jewelers.

The cake by Sugar Flower Cake Design was an elegant masterpiece. Its simple design with edible flowers was framed by a dramatic arch of styled balloons and floral for a visual focal point in the ballroom.

The first dance was a dream-like experience for the couple. It was a magical finale where fireworks lit up as the couple were caught in their intimate bond. Carter Photography captured this breathtaking scene. Would-be couples can take this inspiration and create this magical scene in their once-in-a-lifetime event.

This stunning couple decided that they wanted to Elope on a helipad, with the most amazing view of the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles. Jillian Nicole Events pulled inspirations from different modern magazines to create a sleek and elegant look. Brubaker Floral Co. brought the luxury with a bundle of stunning flowers in black, white, and a touch of orange. Her floral design matched perfectly with the sunset ceremony. The motto for the evening was, “Love from Above”. Spilled Ink Calligraphy gave that touch of romance with her acrylic seating chart, written in gold lettering. The reception had a touch of elegance and class. Bright Event Rentals provided black plates and flatware, giving the table a luxurious look.

From The Bride

The proposal

We met in Switzerland and we were in a long-distance relationship, between Switzerland where I was studying, and Dubai, where Saman was living, for more than five years. It was hard and we missed each other a lot but we both knew it would be worth it. After I finished my studies I moved to Dubai, and Saman proposed to me on Valentine’s Day while we stayed at a resort.

The Wedding Venue

We wanted to get married in a location where we could hold our blessing ceremony outdoors with a view of the sea behind us, and later have our evening ceremony in an indoor ballroom that would feel quite unique. We visited many hotels in Dubai and finally decided to get married in the iconic Burj Al Arab.

The Wedding Theme

We wanted our wedding to be a mix of both Persian and Western traditions. While not everyone could make it on the day, our families are spread all around the world, from Iran to the USA, and in many countries in Europe including Switzerland, England, Germany and France.

A historic site is any structure built before WWII, which began in 1939. However, some of the most famous architectural styles — like Georgian and Greek Revival — date back to the 1700s.

We’re All About the Details

Strung Edison bulbs and wood farm tables were a must for this type of theme, ghost chairs and table from A Chair Affair, Inc. helped to bring a sleek modern touch for our ceremony and reception.

A small lounge area with big forest green couches and hanging twig “Cheers” sign were a huge hit for guests needing a break from dancing. Rena from Event Lab No. 1 became their wedding soulmate, she immediately saw their vison and knew exactly who to source out to make it a reality. Their wedding army of vendors made it a masterpiece!

We added black velvet table linens with a mix of sculpted twigs and tons of jewel tone flowers including Proteas from TailoredTwig , the bride’s favorite, to add a rich warm feel. Matte black dishes with gold chargers and silverware popped on all the tables.

The theater was so unique and beautiful that it was a blank slate to start something wonderful. They knew they had to get married there!

The groom requests included a custom draft craft beer bar by Hidden Springs Ale Works and an ice luge for his infamous homemade Banana Jameson.
