Such Grace in Blush and Gray

She knew exactly how to move in front of the camera, as if the entire room moved along with her gracefulness. Sarah, one classic bride married to her dear groom, Andrew in the beautiful Louisiana State. The warm-hearted couple had a laid-back gray and blush day which concluded with a glittering confetti send-off. Read about Arte de Vie’s experience in capturing the new Mr. and Mrs. McGinty’s breathtaking day and I’m quite sure you’re going to be as inspired as I was!

The Album Story

Sarah and Andy were married just a couple of weeks ago at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, with their reception following at the Windsor Court. I had forgotten that Andy and I had not met yet until right after the ceremony he shook my hand and said, “Nice to meet you!” He was just that laid back and easy going that I felt like I already knew him. Sarah is a beautiful lady inside and out! I’ve enjoyed our time getting to know her over the past few months. She’s such a sweetheart. I absolutely loved her dress! It was so gorgeous and more unique than I’ve seen recently. During bridal prep she was moving around the room with such grace — it was as though she knew exactly how to work the camera.

Highlights From the Ceremony and the Reception

Highlights from Ceremony included the beautiful cathedral, touching hand off of father to groom and their first kiss. Reception highlights were arriving in celebrity style in the Rolls Royce, the beautiful floral arrangements, and the glittering confetti send-off. Still one of our all time favorite images!

Favorite Part of the Day

My favorite images from the day are those at the back of the cathedral as she enters the church, the photo of Andy’s dad hugging him behind the altar before the ceremony, and their departure photos. Sarah had mentioned she wanted a “Hollywood kiss” photo during their departure. There was no coaching necessary — they had a beautiful Hollywood kiss! What a wonderful way to wrap up a great day!

A Memorable Moment

think one of the most memorable part of the ceremony for Sarah and Andy was the bridal processional. The sunlight was radiating through the doors as she entered the cathedral. It was a breathtaking moment.
