It’s Friday and we’re ending the week with this utterly stunning garden themed wedding! Katelynn and Avery decided to downsize their guestlist because of Covid-19. The bright side – they got to splurge on flowers. Featuring a huge floral peacock arrangement, this microwedding was a hit! Over The Top Luxury Styled Shoot

We’ve seen many modern minimalist weddings trend in the wedding space recently, but this “over the top” luxury styled shoot tells us that classic glamour will always be in style. Thirteen wedding vendors came together, did their magic, and viola, an extravagant set will capture our hearts today. With gorgeous combination of gold, magenta, and purple and touches of white and green, this shoot is totally adorable! The lavish florals, the outfits, and the venue’s jaw-dropping staircase as well as the grand ballroom were consistent with the theme. Now, let’s see what other beautiful details consisted this amazing shoot as event planner, Tiffanie, shares with us the nitty-gritty!

The “Over the Top!” styled shoot was inspired by the absent 2020 wedding season due to COVID. For the first time the LIVE! Casino and Hotel (Event Center) allowed a styled shoot and we were given three spaces and from there we created a story. The Penthouse Suite was the couple’s “honeymoon” and after the event which showcased just them with beautiful views and details surrounding their day. We also utilized the suite level which was a more glam but casual effect with a long table adorned with high colorful centerpieces, custom elements; menu cards, a touch of florals on the bar, and a black top table. The Grand Ballroom was a favorite as we had space to build two gorgeous arches that were adorned in bright florals; purples, pinks, and some greenery highlighted by uplighting, candles, gold chargers, utensils, and colorful menu cards to compliment the look. – Tiffanie, event planner

Love From Above: A Helipad Elopement

As Covid19 settles into our new normal, protocols made it challenging for couples to book a venue. Many couples come up with unique choices of holding their celebration. As for Alyssa and Shane, a helipad featuring the incredible view of Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles is the right place. The beautiful weather, lovely sunset, and an elegant color palette (black, white, and touches of orange) made these two all set for a stunning helipad elopement. The look of the day was clean and sleek. In the photographer’s words below are some more details of this special event. But it was the bride’s wedding dress that I’m dying for! This stunning couple decided that they wanted to Elope on a helipad, with the most amazing view of the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles. Jillian Nicole Events pulled inspirations from different modern magazines to create a sleek and elegant look. Brubaker Floral Co. brought the luxury with a bundle of stunning flowers in black, white, and a touch of orange. Her floral design matched perfectly with the sunset ceremony. The motto for the evening was, “Love from Above”. Spilled Ink Calligraphy gave that touch of romance with her acrylic seating chart, written in gold lettering. The reception had a touch of elegance and class. Bright Event Rentals provided black plates and flatware, giving the table a luxurious look.

Surprise Vineyard Proposal

At Elegant Wedding, we always look forward to wedding proposal stories. We do not only get excited about the engagement but also about how the groom-to-be plans to pop the question. In today’s feature, Tristan took to photographer Michael his plan of proposing to his long-time girlfriend, Chloe. They came up with a clever idea. They asked her to model for a bridal shoot. Without any hint, the bride-to-be took the offer. The shoot was taken at the Le Vigne Winery in Paso Robles, CA and there couldn’t be any more perfect surprise vineyard proposal than this! The florist and HMUA were secretly hired too! Everyone was in on the surprise. While “practicing’ the first look, little did Chloe know Tristan was already on bended knee, ready to say, “Will you marry me?” Of course, she said “Yes!” It was the most perfect golden hour for the two!

Updated Mid Century Modern Styled Shoot

It’s a summery Thursday, and we’ve got another gorgeous bridal inspiration for you! I’m more than excited to share with you guys this Updated Mid Century Modern Styled Shoot because it definitely stole my heart, and I’m pretty sure it will melt yours too! This styled wedding shoot was initially inspired by the brand new Mountain Shadows Resort which was styled in a mid-century modern fashion. Photographer Laura Segall and wedding planner Jennifer Starr collaborated to create a setting that was both original with a vintage mid-century vibe- and boy they did an amazing job! The idea was to keep the images fresh and sophisticated without looking too retro and washed out. And of course, they chose a color palette which is a combination of teal, white and grey accents and then added red for contrast. With a cast of extras to fill in the roles of bridesmaids, groomsmen and flower girls, they were able to create a mini wedding that was more than just the bride and groom alone in the space. Modern Urban Styled Wedding

Today’s featured styled shoot is an absolute treat! Stephanie Wood Photography captured these lovely photos from an amazing group of talented vendors that incorporated different styles and details to create a specific concept for this bridal shoot. Taken at a local industrial-chic, intimate wedding venue called Reality on Monroe (an event place affiliated with a high-end tapas restaurant called Reality Bites), this space is great for small receptions or rehearsal dinners/bridal showers and other party events. Two Sister Event Design brought in so many lovely furniture pieces, including decking out the tables in modern, classic serving flatware. They even included special touches like signage for a designer cocktail, as well as a beautiful accent draping that added an intimate vibe to the overall shoot. But my favorite details would be the modern-chic florals from Vera Buck Florals that embellished their designs with pops of fun and playful touches to add to the industrial atmosphere! I know that my words won’t do the photos justice, so please go and check them out below!

When you begin to plan out your wedding it can be hard to narrow down all of your ideas into one cohesive plan. Choosing a color palette, and an overall feel to your day is tough when you only get to pick one style. I always recommend that couples take a step back from the wedding itself and think about what their personal interests are and let that help guide the color palette and mood of the day. Look around your home and take note of how it’s decorated. Take a look at the color palette and style of the clothes you most often wear. Are you someone who prefers a more structured and sleek design as in Restoration Hardware? Or do you prefer the organic, colorful feel of Anthropologie? Let these preferred design aesthetics help guide your wedding style. Thinking outside-the-box and looking to other inspiration besides just wedding magazines will help you and your design team craft a fresh, new vibe for your wedding that is sure to wow your guests while feeling authentic to who you are as a couple at the same time. ~Stephanie Wood

East meets West Indian-fusion Wedding

And what better way to celebrate the New Year here in Elegant Wedding than discovering gorgeous fusion wedding inspirations that compliment both modern and traditional charms. Today’s featured wedding is a showcase of elegance and culture. East meets West in this spectacular vibrant Indian-fusion wedding that perfectly combines the modern flair and traditional elegance that complements the gorgeous wardrobe and the grand reception. We’re All About the Details!

On the morning of her big day, the blushing bride adorned a stunning red and gold two-piece Lehenga and intricate Indian jewelry. After a morning of prep, the groom came to pick up his wife to be, and the wedding party continued on to the soft sands of Nizuc beach for the picturesque ceremony. After the 126 guests were happily seated, the groom kept the tradition alive by entering on a bright red Mexican rickshaw to complete his Barat. Now that’s something you don’t see every day. A gentle breeze ruffled the brides jet black curls and the sea gently lapped against the shore as the couple declared their undying love for one another. Ramesh Malhan, the chosen Officiant, prepared a perfect Indian-fusion ceremony, complete with Mangalsutra, which left the father of the groom brimming with pride. After laughs had been shared and tears of joy had been shed, the wedding party retired to the sophisticated oceanfront A-Kan terrace to enjoy the panoramic ocean views for cocktail hour. The bride took advantage of this break to transform into her red carpet worthy white wedding dress and jewel-studded Christian Louboutin bridal shoes, adding the fusion into this Indian-fusion wedding. The loved-up couple chose the magical Sian Kaan Ballroom for their wedding reception, a breathtakingly beautiful hall with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lush Mayan jungle. Delicate blush and gold accents were strewn around the room, while blooming rose bouquets by Vanessa Jaimes and flickering white candles marked the center of each table. The look of awe on the guest’s faces as they entered this impressive ballroom was something we’ll never forget.As the bride, a vision in white and the handsome groom entered, the DJ began spinning on the decks and the celebration truly began. If there’s one thing these newlyweds know how to do, it’s throwing a party. Luckily, the Sian Kaan Ballroom had plenty of space to dance. As the bride and groom took to the floor, a glittering firework display shot up from the ground, providing the most magical backdrop to their first dance. From this moment on, the laughter, amazing dance moves, flowing champagne and cheeky tequila shots never stopped. After 8 months of careful planning, both the team at Mango Weddings & Events and the happy couple couldn’t have asked for a better Indian-fusion wedding.

Classic Wedding at Alfred Dupont

If you’re looking for a fresh modern style, you’ll certainly love what we have in store for you today. This beautiful modern romance style shoot wedding will instantly brighten your mood with its romantic vibe and elegant colors! Romance and elegance? Always a good combination. This took place at the historic Alfred Dupont Building in Miami, FL. The decoration included strong unique shapes and lines as seen on the reception and sweetheart table. The candle holders were turned into caged floral displays. The reception table was decorated with modern place settings, using rich colors to contrast with the neutral interiors such as the details of the table settings and cake. A dramatic beautiful ball gown, accessories, hair and makeup was used to mirror the look with the decor and the same for the groom the details like the cufflinks were inspired by the mechanisms of the vault. Also, the use of calligraphy was to add that extra romantic touch to the stationary and ceremony. This styling by Pink Wasabi Boutique, Inc. is gorgeous, and the couple look so lovely- I’m sure you’ll enjoy scrolling through every photo by Cortiella Photography just as much as I did!
